Slept on boat last night. Didn’t sleep much – too many mosquitoes. Need to figure out tents that can fit on the boat for those of us who will be camping there. Worked on boat set up and decor until the cast arrived. Barely made it halfway through my list and fell behind on e-mail/Facebook messages. Rehearsal was good but slow. Mostly made it through the show and I think we finally dialed in an order that works. Reporter from Minneapolis Public Radio came to talk to us.
Rain started at the end of the day. Didn’t know whether to continue working or secure everything. The rain here is different than the west coast – decimating showers that soak through everything in seconds. There will definitely be storms on our trip, I’ve been counting on that. But the alarming thing is that the predictions showed 0% chance of rain.
Went back to Powderhorn for dinner (thank Matty and Tanya) and to make the plan for tomorrow – our last day of rehearsal. Its amazing how far the show feels from being ready. I imagine this happens every year, but it somehow feels like we are farther behind than ever.
